New Wave Of Covert Mobilization Reported In Temporarily Occupied Territory Of Luhansk Region
“In the so-called 'LPR', preparations are underway to mobilize the population. The 'special assemblies' that recently began in the occupied Luhansk region have already been named by locals as a new wave of covert mobilization,” Kharchenko said.
He added that this is linked to significant Russian losses on the front lines and a reduction in contract payments, which is a result of a significant budget deficit in Russian regions.
“They intend to make up for the losses primarily by using the captured territories,” the Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration clarified.
According to him, yesterday, near ten settlements, the occupiers tried to find weak spots in the Ukrainian forces' defense.
"They stormed 19 times: 12 on the Sloviansk front section and another 7 on the Lyman section. They shelled our positions with barrel artillery and actively used FPV drones," Kharchenko said.
