Iran’s non-oil shipments increased by 41 percent MoM


(MENAFN) The worth of Iran’s non-oil shipments to Pakistan rose by 41 percent in the initial month of the ongoing Iranian calendar year (March 21-April 20), on a yearly basis, as stated by the representative of Trade Development Committee of the Iranian House of Industry, Mining, and Trade.

Ruhollah Latifi stated that shipping in non-oil commodities valued at USD116 million, Pakistan was Iran’s fourth shipment destination in the previously mentioned month.

The representative informed that the worth of Iran’s non-oil shipments to Pakistan increased by 18 percent in the previous Iranian calendar year 1401 (ended on March 20).

Latifi stated that shipping in non-oil goods estimated at USD1.488 billion from Iran, Pakistan was the fifth highest shipments stop of the Islamic Republic in the earlier year.

Iran shipped in non-oil commodities worth USD842 million from Pakistan in the last year, which stood at 170 percent more than the number of the previous year, the representative asserted, also mentioning that Pakistan was Iran’s fourth highest source of inside shipment in the last year.
