(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, May 10 (KUNA) -- Kuwait SC Basketball Assistant Coach Yahya Al-Bahar, on Wednesday, said that the win against Bahrain's Manama Club took them a step closer to winning the West Asia Super League Gulf finals.
In a statement for KUNA, Al-Bahar said that despite of the players being exhausted, they have performed very well and are the Arab and Gulf champions due to the number of matches played locally and internationally.
He pointed out that his players are determined to win the second game that will decide the series of a Best-of-3 format.
Game one of the WASL Gulf Finals was played on Tuesday in Kuwait at the Shaikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sport Hall Complex.
Meanwhile, Game two will be played on May 15 at in Manama, Bahrain at Khalifa Sport City. If necessary, Game three will be played on May 22 in Kuwait. (end)
