Russian Aircraft Attack Sumy Region's Svesa, Civil Infrastructure Hit


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) On the night of April 16, 2023, Russian troops launched an air strike on the Sumy region's urban-type settlement of Svesa. Civil infrastructure was reported hit, and two civilians were injured.

The relevant statement was made by Sumy Regional Military Administration on telegram , an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Last night Russians launched an air strike on the outskirts of the urban-type settlement of Svesa. As a result, the premises of a municipal institution were hit. Two persons were injured. The enemy attack also caused damage to two administrative premises,” the report states.

A reminder that, on April 15, 2023, Russia's helicopter fired unguided air-to-surface missiles at the Sumy region's Yunakivka community.
