(MENAFN- ForPressRelease) New Delhi, 28 March 2023: UK-based premium fashion brand, Urbanic, adds another milestone in its journey by collaborating with Clothes Box Foundation, and pledging to continue working toward sustainability. The initiative is to 'repURpose' clothes by upcycling and recycling them, thus diverting them from landfills, and repurposing them to bring them back to life.
The fashion brand has pledged a monthly donation of garments that will be continuously upcycled. Further, these upcycled garments will be used to manufacture school bags which will be distributed by the Clothes Box Foundation to underprivileged children living in remote areas.
Urbanic truly believes in the power of community and helps bring about change by promoting circular fashion habits that affect our environment.
James Wellwood, the founding partner at Urbanic, will be visiting the upcycling facility of the Clothes Box Foundation to sign the agreement and commemorate the initiative. "We understand the impression we create every day and take accountability for it. We strongly believe our initiative towards continual upcycling will bring about change in the community. As a fashion brand, our effort has always been directed towards the community which involves the continual betterment of the people and the planet." added Wellwood, as he talks about the initiative.
