(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, March 26 (KUNA) -- First Deputy Prime Minister, Interior Minister and Acting Defense Minister Sheikh Talal Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah paid an inspection tour of the roads to check traffic and security conditions amid heavy rains that hit Kuwait on Sunday evening.
The minister was briefed on security deployment of police patrols, and the mechanism of dealing with accumulated rains, as well as the field measures taken in such cases, the ministry's public relations and security media department said in a press statement.
The minister also stressed the need of dealing with all accumulated waters as soon as possible, lauding the fruitful cooperation among the State bodies in this regard. (end)
