Five Injured In Russian Shelling Of Kherson


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Five civilians were injured in Kherson as a result of today's strikes by the Russian invasion forces.

That's according to Oleksandr tolokonnikov , head of the local administration's press office, who spoke at the national telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"At noon, Russian mercenaries shelled the Korabelny district, where the humanitarian aid station was located. The projectile got stuck in the roof and, fortunately, none of those inside were injured. But it was not a single shot. The invaders fired at the square where people were at the time. As a result, four people were injured, two of them men and two women," said Tolokonnikov.

According to the spokesman, they were hospitalized with mine-blast injuries and shrapnel wounds were hospitalized.

In addition, the press officer informed that in the afternoon, another Russian projectile exploded in a backyard of a local household, injuring its owner and killing his dog.

As reported earlier, on March 25, Russian invaders fired at a humanitarian aid point in Kherson, two civilians - a woman and a man - were hospitalized with injuries of varying degrees.
