Turkish shares close week with decreases


(MENAFN) Turkey’s main share index closed week standing at 5,384.56 points, decreasing 1.13 percent from the prior end.

Opening the session standing at 5,396.68 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index decreasing 61.66 points in comparison with Thursday's end of 5,446.22 points.

The index's worst worth through the last transaction day reached an amount of 5,381.56, whereas its day to day peak stood at 5,438.60.

The overall market worth of BIST 100 was nearly 4.4 trillion Turkish liras (USD232.1 billion) by market end, with a day to day exchange capacity of 86 billion liras (USD4.55 billion).

Throughout the session, 35 shares on the index jumped, 62 dropped and three were unaffected in comparison with the prior end.

Worldwide main Brent crude exchanged at USD81 a barrel at 9.48 AM regional time (0648GMT), decreasing 0.72 percent from the ending price of USD81.59 per barrel in the prior exchange session.

At the same time, American benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) sold at USD75 a barrel, a 0.95 percent decline following the prior session ended standing at UDS75.72 per barrel.
