Qazvin province witnesses 20 percent increase in shipments YoY


(MENAFN) The worth of shipment from Qazvin province surged by 20 percent in the opening ten months of the ongoing Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2022-January 20, 2023), in comparison with the same span of time in the last year, a provincial official declared.

Reza Nik-Ravesh, the head-general of the province’s customs department, asserted that 828,000 tons of commodities valued at USD546 million were shipped from the district in the 10-month time span, signifying 17 percent expansion in terms of mass on a yearly basis.

The official additionally stated that the commodities were shipped from Qazvin district to 60 nations in the opening ten months of the current year, and stated that Iraq, Turkey, Afghanistan, the United Arab Emirates, as well as Pakistan as the major shipment destinations.
