To me, it is one of the greatest sources of enjoyment,” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and Chancellor AAFT University of media and Arts while inaugurating the exhibition of senior artist Sukanta Das at The Open Palm Court Gallery, Habitat Centre.
Sukanta Das was born in 1973 in Kolkata and graduated with Bachelor's degree in visual Arts from the Rabindra Bharti University, Kolkata inn 1996. Sukanta Das received a National Scholarship and won an Honorable Mention from the Avantika Art SocietyNew Delhi in 2003.The artist's work has been a part of several group shows and solo shows.
Former Director General of of National Gallery of Modern Art Adwaita Gadanayak, Artist Tirthankar Biswas, Aruna Vsudev, Niren Sengupta, Anand Moy Banerji, Sunit Tondon were also present there.
