Saudi Industry reaches MoU deal with Mineral ministry

(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources and the Diriyah Gate Development Authority have inked a memorandum of understanding to regulate the nation’s mining businesses, as reported by Saudi Press Agency.
Under the MoU, both sides are going to improve collaboration in all mutual sectors that support the numerous areas linked to regulating mining operation in the nation.
The MoU was inked in the attendance of the Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Mining Affairs Khalid bin Saleh Al-Mudaifer, in addition to the Chief executive of the Diriyah Gate Development Authority Gerard Inzerillo, on the offshoots of the second edition of the Future Minerals Forum in the Saudi Capital.
The additional MoU comes along with the ministry’s attempts targeted at preserving the natural resources in the nation and maximizing their utilization, SPA mentioned in a report, quoting the Undersecretary of the MIMR for Mining Services Saleh Al-Aqili.
