Advanced irrigation improvement is huge requirement in Iran

(MENAFN) Latest deficiencies in Iran have increased the necessity to utilize additional ways of irrigation. This problem is mainly vital in rural areas.

It is important to improve modern ways of irrigation and replace them as a substitute of traditional irrigation by agriculturalists because of the dearth of water in most places.

Bearing in mind the present condition when the nation is dealing with water issues, the Agriculture Ministry is forcing an additional irrigation systems improvement strategy.

Previously in May, the ministry’s project manager for the stated development program stated that the strategy for improving modern irrigation schemes has seen a huge jump in the last three years, as it is most effective in surging the effectiveness of water and soil resources and reinforcing the nation’s food security.

During the last three years, each year, an average of 150,000 hectares of farmlands have been prepared with modern irrigation plans, as well as we have seen a 300 percent rise, Abbas Zare mentioned.
