Enemy Intensifies Attacks On Residential Districts Of Kherson


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) In Kherson city, there is destruction in Tavriysky microdistrict caused by the enemy shelling. Russian troops are intensifying attacks on residential neighborhoods.

'Indeed, the occupier is intensifying and continuing the shelling of Kherson. They [the military of the Russian Federation] yesterday shelled and today continue shelling [the city] from tube artillery. This morning, a powerful strike was launched... on one of the most densely populated microdistricts of the city – Tavriyskyi... It's the northern part of the city,' Serhii Khlan, member of the Kherson Regional Council, said during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine–Ukrinform.

According to him, the neighborhood was struck with MLRS. Rescuers and healthcare workers are at the scene.

Khlan emphasized that the Russian military continued terrorist shelling of residential areas. Every day, the intensity of shelling increases, fire is opened from MLRS and tube artillery.

As the press service of the Kherson City Council reports, Russian troops have hit Kherson city 13 times today, the number of victims is being determined.

'There were 13 attacks today [from 12:30 to 9:00],' the report reads.

Head of the Kherson City Military Administration Halyna Luhova informed that apartment blocks, private houses, garages had been damaged.

The number of casualties is being established.

In general, the city council notes, from November 20 till the morning of November 24, 58 Russian explosions were recorded in Kherson. Seven people were killed, three more were injured.
