Iran’s inflation rate climbs by 1.1 percent


(MENAFN) The Statistical Center of Iran (SCI) has recorded the average inflation level in the twelve-month time span closed on November 21, which indicate the closing of the eighth Iranian calendar month Aban, at 44 percent, surging 1.1 percent from the number for the twelve-month finished to the seventh month.

The hub recorded the nation’s point-to-point inflation level at 48.1 percent in the eighth month, which indicates that families have compensated an average of 48.1 percent higher for buying the same package of goods and services in that month, in comparison with the same month in the prior year.

The inflation level stood at 43.3 percent for the urban households, surging one percent from the prior month, as well as 47.4 percent for the rural households, jumping 1.2 percent from the month before.

The Statistical Center of Iran has recorded the average inflation level in the twelve-month time span closed on the 20th of March, which indicates the closing of the last Iranian calendar year 1400, at 40.2 percent.
