Kordestan province ships over USD200M value of goods in 7 months


(MENAFN) Outputs worth USD227 million were shipped from Kordestan province, in the west of Iran, throughout the opening seven months of the present Iranian calendar year (March 21-October 22), an official with the Customs Department of the province declared.

Khalil Heydari recorded the mass of shipped commodities at 556,000 tons.

He mentioned that 557,000 tons of goods valued at USD246 million had been shipped from the district in the opening seven months of the prior year.

As declared by the representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), the worth of Iran’s non-oil shipment jumped by 5.6 percent throughout the opening seven months of the ongoing Iranian calendar year, in comparison to the same span of time in the last year.

In line with Morteza Emadi, Iran shipped 61.283 million tons of commodities worth USD28.406 billion in the stated seven months, recording an 18.2 percent drop in terms of mass.
