NAM College Alumni Association Qatar chapter celebrated popular Kerala festival, Onam, at a grand event titled Onam 22 with traditional fervour. The programme was inaugurated by NAM College management committee vice-chairman and Safari Group general manager Zainul Abideen. President Ahmed Adiyottil was honoured on the occasion. Saudia Hypermarket managing director Musthafa and Promise dental Center managing director Dr Samad spoke. Alumni president Jasar Achoth presided, general secretary Saleem Ali welcomed the gathering and treasurer Abdul Raoof proposed a vote of thanks. The cultural performances included Thiruvathira Kali, Chendamelam, Ilathalam, Pulikkali, Uriyadi, tug-of-war, a music show by leading singers from Doha and cinematic dances. Among the highlights was a sumptuous vegetarian feast. The sponsors were AAK Fruits and Veg, Reyada Medical Centre, Food World, Al Rawabi Hypermarket, Safari Hypermarket, Saudia Hypermarket, Dana Hypermarket, Tea Time and Promise Dental Center.
