France, Romania Sign Agreement Simplifying Ukrainian Grain Exports
French Transport Minister Clément Beaune announced this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.
“I and my Romanian colleague Ionel Scriosteanu have signed an agreement that facilitates the Ukrainian grain exports through providing our logistical expertise,' he wrote.
Beaune added that the signing of the document took place in the presence of Ambassador of Ukraine to the French Republic, Vadym Omelchenko.
The French minister also stressed that France stands in full solidarity with Ukraine.
Earlier, Beaune said that the agreement would allow Ukraine to increase grain exports to developing countries, including to the Mediterranean.
As Ukrinform reported, on July 22, Ukraine, Turkey, Russia and the United Nations signed an agreement unblocking grain exports from three Ukrainian ports.
