Zelensky: American Weapons Have Positive Effect On Situation At Front

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) At the meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Kyiv, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that American weapons had a positive effect on the situation at the front.
“The President noted that American weapons have a positive effect on the situation at the front. The armed forces of Ukraine especially respect the HIMARS multiple-launch rocket systems. On behalf of the Ukrainian military, the Head of State thanked the United States for these weapons,” the press service of the Head of State informs.
Zelensky and Blinken discussed in detail the prospects of increasing U.S. defense support for Ukraine. The importance of the official launch of the Lend-Lease program was noted.
As reported, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Kyiv on Thursday on an unannounced visit.
