Putin: EU ships nearly all Ukraine's grain to its nations neglecting nations in need
(MENAFN) Russian leader Vladimir Putin stated on Wednesday that nearly every Ukraine's grain was shipped to the EU nations.
Speaking at the Eastern Financial Forum in Vladivostok on Wednesday, Putin cautioned that an extraordinary humanitarian crisis could rise in the world due to the West shipping majority of the Ukrainian grain to its nations, and not to the nations in who really needed it in Africa.
Vladimir Putin stated that "All, almost all grain exported from Ukraine is sent not to the developing poorest countries, but to the EU countries.”
He continued that "Under the UN World Food Program, which implies assistance to countries in need, only two ships were loaded, I emphasize, only two out of 87, and 60,000 tons of food were exported on them of the 2 million tons, this is only 3 percent that is sent to developing countries."
Putin also mentioned that several European nations act as colonizers, deceiving developing nations.
Putin stated that "It is obvious that with this approach, the scale of food problems in the world will only increase, unfortunately, to our great regret, which can lead to an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe."
