Kuwait Fire Force Promotes 198 Officers

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 4 (KUNA) -- Director General of Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Mekrad on Sunday issued an order to promote 198 KFF officers, said the force.
The force indicated in a statement that this promotion came in recognition of the officers' efforts to protect society.
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Acting Minister of Interior Sheikh Talal Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah approved the promotions, added the statement.
The KFF revealed that the promotions included 35 officers from Lieutenant Colonel to Colonel, 157 officers from Major to Lieutenant Colonel, as well as six officers from the ranks of Captain to Major and from Lieutenant to Captain. (end)
