Sevilla completes Tanguy Nianzou transfer from Bayern Munich

(MENAFN) French center back Tanguy Nianzou Kouassi made his transfer from German champions Bayern Munich for Sevilla, the Spanish La Liga club announced on Wednesday.

"WELCOME, TANGUY NIANZOU! The centre-back arrives from Bayern Munich," Sevilla stated in an announcement, announcing that the 20-year-old signed a five-year contract as well.

In the meantime, Bayern Munich stated that Nianzou might come back to the German giants in future as his deal contained a "buy-back" clause.

Hasan Salihamidzic, Bayern Munich's board member for sport stated that "We will keep a close eye on Tanguy's development, because FC Bayern have the option to bring him back to Munich. Sevilla are getting a terrific and very talented youngster."

Nianzou, who is of Ivorian descent, began his senior career at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) 3 years ago, but then became a Bayern Munich player from 2020-2022.

The French footballer also achieved domestic titles with PSG as well as Bayern Munich.
