Six Settlements Come Under Enemy Fire In Kherson Region, Casualties Reported

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Over the past day, Russian troops have opened fire on six settlements in Kherson Region. Casualties among civilians were reported.

The relevant statement was made by the National Police of Ukraine in Kherson Region on Facebook , an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The enemy shelling of Kherson Region lasted during the day and at night.

“Such settlements as Osokorivka, Ivanivka, Olhyne, Mykolaivka and Arkhanhelske came under enemy fire. Detached houses were damaged and local residents injured,” the report states.

At 04:30 a.m., Russian troops shelled the village of Novopavlivka with cluster munitions. There were no casualties among civilians, but cattle were injured and later died.

Over the past day, the police have opened 20 criminal proceedings over the war crimes committed by Russian troops against civilians in Kherson Region.
