Army Chief Checks On New HQ Of JAF General Command
AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Tuesday checked on the progress of the project for the new headquarters of the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF).
Huneiti toured various parts of the project and listened to a briefing by the director of the Military Works and Housing Corporation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Also on Tuesday, Huneiti visited the Military Intelligence Directorate, where its director briefed the army chief on its role and duties. At the end of the visit, Huneiti conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of JAF, praising the directorate's distinguished role in realising national security.
