China, Singapore Parties Strengthen Ties


(MENAFN) On Monday in Beijing, Shi Taifeng, a senior figure of the Communist Party of China (CPC), held talks with a delegation from Singapore’s People’s Action Party (PAP), led by Desmond Lee, the PAP chairman and minister for education.

Shi, who serves on the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and heads its Organization Department, emphasized that under the strategic guidance of General Secretary Xi Jinping and Singaporean leadership, bilateral relations have advanced steadily, with cooperation across multiple sectors continuing to grow stronger.

He highlighted China’s readiness to expand structured exchanges between the two parties, reinforce political trust, deepen practical collaboration, and achieve further progress in building a comprehensive, high-quality, and future-oriented partnership between the two nations.

Lee expressed Singapore’s willingness to work closely with China to implement the consensus reached by both countries’ leaders, enhance dialogue and mutual learning between the parties, and broaden cooperation in diverse areas.
