TASI closes Monday’s session with higher figures
(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia’s main index closed Monday with increases after a storm of gains reports grew investor sentiment.
The Tadawul All Share Index gained 0.66 percent amounting to 12,297, whereas the parallel market, Nomu, jumped 1.36 percent at 22,072.
The Saudi British Bank soared 1.44 percent, whereas the Kingdom’s oil giant Saudi Aramco went up by 0.13 percent.
The Saudi National Bank, the Kingdom’s largest lender, closed the day 1.82 percent up, whereas Alinma Bank surged by 1.07 percent.
The Middle East Paper Co. added 2.83 percent, after a 216 percent jump in first half income.
The Wafrah for Industry and Development Co. climbed 2.79 percent, after the inking of a USD4 million deal with German GEA Food for meat output.
Bank Albilad increased 2.62 percent, after the declaration of the start of Enjaz Payment Services Co., a shut mutual-stock firm sited in Riyadh.
Almarai Co. rose 0.56 percent, after the declaration of the re-appointment of Prince Naif bin Sultan bin Mohammed bin Saud Alkabeer as chairman as well as Suliman Al-Muhaideb as vice chairman.
