Germany Accuses Russia Of Breaking Peace Agreement With NATO

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BERLIN, June 29 (KUNA) -- The German Government accused Russia on Wednesday of breaking the peace agreement with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) after Moscow launched its 'military operation' on Ukraine.
German Minister of Foreign Affairs Annalena Baerbock stated that NATO was aiming to remain at peace with Russia, however Russia did not stick to that agreement.
Baerbock has reaffirmed NATO's main values in arms reduction, adding that the war in Ukraine is forcing the allies to do the opposite.
Baerbock's statements came before the start of the NATO summit, due in Madrid, where the war in Ukraine is the most prominent topic to be discussed by 30 member states. (end)
