Doha: The first edition of MESIS newsletter MESIS Pulse was launched recently at the MESIS Indian School, Abu Hamour Branch. The launch was held by the Chief Guest K Abdul Karim (President, MESIS) in the presence of A P Khalil (Vice President, MESIS), Principal Hameeda Kadar (MES School), Principal Dr. Mohamed Haneef (MESIS), Rashmi Jain (School Mentor, MESIS) and Ashokan K (Academic Supervisor, MESIS). 

After the soft launch of 'MESIS Pulse', the student editor Fathima Mayaza (Grade VIII A) delivered the welcome address. Principal, MES Indian School, Hameeda Kadar, pronounced her presence with a remarkable speech pointing out the importance of keeping updated with the flux of language. Chief Guest K Abdul Karim delivered an inspiring speech encouraging students to sustain the rhythm of the campus reflected in 'MESIS Pulse' as the name of the newsletter implies. 

Principal Dr. Mohammed Haneef (MES Indian School, Abu Hamour Branch), hosted the event. He affirmed that MESIS Pulse would be published every month. He anticipated the upcoming editions to showcase the great potential of students. Dr. Haneef urged all students to utilise this opportunity to the utmost and he appreciated the students and the parents for their promising response. Laiba Nadeem (Grade VI B) expressed the vote of thanks at the event. 

After the inaugural ceremony, the unveiling of hard copy was done by the chief guest President K Abdul Karim. According to him, the new venture would open up endless opportunities for the upcoming generations. 

The initiative of school newsletter is an opportunity for fostering creative skills of the students. The staff editors in charge of the newsletter were Shajeera Nivas and Rabiya Nisreen. The event concluded after the prize distribution for the winners of competitions associated with Qatar National Day and Indian Republic Day celebrations.
