Turkish, Armenian representatives to gather next month


(MENAFN) In accordance to Turkish foreign minister, the first conference amid special representatives from Turkey and Armenia to negotiate measure to normalize relations amid both nations may take place in January.

During an interview broadcast live on 24 TV, Mevlut Cavusoglu announced "The date for the first meeting between special representatives of Turkey and Armenia has not yet been set, but it is expected to be held in January."

He as well said the representatives in their first conference are going to talk over a roadmap on taken measures, as well as confidence-building measures.

Turkish foreign minister on Dec. 18, stated that Moscow would hold the first conference amid Turkish and Armenian special representatives to talk over measures for normalizing two-sided ties.
