Turkish, Armenian delegates plan to assemble in Russia
(MENAFN) Turkey's foreign minister reported on Monday, Russia will conduct the first conference among important delegates from Turkey and Armenia to talk about the moves for normalizing relations between both nations.
While presenting at the fourth quarter’s assessment of Turkey’s foreign policy, Mevlut Cavusoglu mentioned the exceptional delegates of Armenia and Turkey must initially conduct a phone call, in which they will choose the date and location of a physical assembly.
Cavusoglu reported, “Our impression is that the first meeting will take place in Moscow, as Armenia desires. Aside from the first meeting, we also want communication to be held directly ... We have mutually appointed special envoys to speak directly.”
He remarked that there should be a plan for normalizing the relationship between the two nations, as it is planned to be discussed at the assembly.
