(MENAFN)In a new report, the Bank of China Research Institute stated that Chinese commercial banks are expected to witness profits expansion by around 3 percent in the first and last six months of the year.
The report also added that clear marks of development were realized in the profitability of China's banking sector, and the asset quality was steady in the first six months of the year.
According to earlier data from the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, net incomes of Chinese commercial banks in the first six months increased 2.4 percent on annual to total 614.3 billion yuan (about USD95.07 billion).
Also, the research institute anticipated that the China's banking sector is going to show a better expansion trend in incomes and strong risk balance ability in the July-September period.
