Tunisia’s prime minister pays visit to Qatar to enhance economic relations


(MENAFN) On Saturday, May. 29 the Tunisian administration stated that Tunisia’s Prime Minister Hichem Mechichi has began an official visit to Qatar for discussions on boosting bilateral economic relations.

The administration stated in a report that Mechichi will convene with top Qatari officials in his 3-day visit to the Gulf nation to talk about collaboration between both nations in all areas.

The report noted: “the visit represents an important opportunity to bolster fraternity and cooperation relations between the two countries in all fields, particularly in the economic domain.”

Mechichi’s visit comes to continue a recent visit by Ghannouchi to Qatar previously in May, noted Riadh Chaibi, a political adviser to the head of the Ennhada party, Rachid Ghannouchi.
