China: Lottery auctions surpass USD13.07b
(MENAFN)Statistics from the Ministry of Finance (MOF) reveals that China's lottery sales hit 84.52 billion yuan (about USD13.07 billion) in the first quarter of 2021.
According to the MOF, sales of welfare lottery tickets hit about 34 billion yuan in the period, while sports lottery sales hit about 50.53 billion yuan.
In March alone, lottery sales made up 29.81 billion yuan. Sales in the provinces of Guangdong, Zhejiang, Shandong, Jiangsu and Henan were relatively high, MOF statistics also reveals.
