(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Learning shouldn't be limited to theory classes alone in the classroom in the present scenario. Dr T P Sasikumar, former space scientist and educator, said this while speaking at the ‘Teacher Empowerment' workshop for teachers of Noble International School (NIS).
He highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary learning for the accurate transfer of information and knowledge to the children in a right way. He added that only through the application of knowledge in a real life scenario would create the right aptitude and awareness among students.
School principal Shibu Abdul Rasheed welcomed the gathering. Vice-Principal Academics Jaymon Joy hailed the session and Vice-Principal CCA Robin K. Jose proposed the vote of thanks. The teachers commented that the workshop was very useful and informative focusing on various topics such as children's education, learning style and mentality of teachers and students during online classes. Head of sections Shihabuddin, Nisar K and Asma Roshan were also present.
