Qatar forces minimum wage of USD275 for all workers
(MENAFN)According to official media, a minimum salary of USD275 a month came into force for all workers in Qatar.
The minimum became obligatory for all inked deals from August 30, and is going to be required for obtainable employment deals.
It involves all workers be paid more than 1,000 riyals (USD275) for a month of full-time work - equal to around USD1.30 an hour.
Employers are also required to provide bed and board or another 800 riyal a month payment for food and accommodation.
