China: Civil air transport industry achieves 10 successive years of safe flight
(MENAFN)According to statistics from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), China's civil air transport industry made a new record in flight safety by keeping 10 successive years of safe flight operation as of the end of 2020.
The sector attained 89.43 million safe flight hours and safely transported 4.62 billion travelers as of 2020, statistics from the CAAC revealed.
Throughout the 13th Five-Year Plan period (2016-2020), the country's civil air transport industry achieved 52.7 million flight hours, a 51.2-percent upsurge from the total volume in the past five years.
