EU: Redundancy augments to 7.5 percent


(MENAFN) The EU's redundancy rate augmented to 7.5 percent in September, increased 0.9 percentage point year-on-year, the bloc's statistical office registered on Friday, October 30.

Eurostat stated in a press update, that the eurozone redundancy rate was also augmented by 0.8 percentage point to 8.3 percent in the last month on an annual basis.
The eurozone/euro region or EA19 symbolizes member states that use the single currency " euro " while the EU27 comprises all member countries of the bloc.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the redundancy ratio has carried on augmenting for six successive months both in the EU and eurozone.
