Philippines registers 2,057 new coronavirus cases
(MENAFN) The Philippines' Department of Health (DOH) registered 2,057 new infections of coronavirus on Saturday, October 24, taking the total count in the country to 367,819.
The DOH stated that 442 more patients have been cured, increasing the total number of recoveries to 313,112. The fatalities mounted to 6,934 after 19 more patients passed away from the virus, the DOH stated.
The health department stated that it had carried out tests over 4.28 million people in the Philippines. The Philippines has a population of almost 110 million.
