(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ALGIERS, Sept 21 (KUNA) -- Algerian ministry of health reported on Monday recording seven new deaths with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in addition to 197 infection cases.
Dr. Jamal Forar, spokesman of the COVID-19 response committee, said in his daily briefing that the caseload of the cases climbed to 50,023, in addition to 1,679 mortalities.
He reported 133 new recovery cases raising the toll of the cured patients to 35,180.
Meanwhile, 29 persons sick with the germn infection have remained at intensive care units. (end)
