(MENAFN- The Conversation) I am a long time communication specialist with experience working for the Government of Canada. I am now a PhD candidate in Communication at the University of Ottawa. My research focuses on the study of liberal political discourses on the topic of feminism and women's rights in Canada. My research is particularly interested in understanding how sexism continues to persevere under liberal or progressive systems.
