Industrial data showed that the transportation industry posted recovery in August as the economic activities normalized due to the effective epidemic control.

The decline was 2.2 percent less than the one recorded in July.

The subindex for passenger transport stood at 111.5 points last month, a drop of 36.1 percent year on year, as the cargo transport added 5.2 percent to reach 188.2 points.
