Ukraine, Israel to deepen cooperation in cybersecurity NSDC

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Ukraine Joel Lion today, the NSDC press service reports.

"During the meeting, they discussed a wide range of issues of Ukrainian-Israeli relations, in particular, deepening cooperation between the security agencies of the two countries in the cybersecurity sphere," the report says.

The parties also exchanged views on the development of the security situation in the global and regional dimensions, particularly regarding the spread of coronavirus disease worldwide and the effectiveness of measures to counter the pandemic.

In his turn, Mr. Lion assured that Israel will continue to support Ukraine. He expressed confidence in the success of practical cooperation between the two countries.
