Kuwait- Austria: 134 new infections with COVID-19
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) VIENNA, July 26 (KUNA) -- Austria on Sunday registered 134 new infection cases with the novel coronavirus raising the toll to 20,414.
Austrian ministry of health said in a statement posted on its website that more than 847,000 swab tests had been conducted, while 18,209 patients had recovered.
Meanwhile, the department reported a single death during the past 24 hours putting the tally of mortalities with the contagion at 712.
Currently, there are 97 patients receiving medical treatment at hospitals -- including 15 in the intensive care units.
The authorities have declared that it is mandatory to put on protective masks at big stores, banks and transport stations, amid noticeable resurgence of the cases. (end)
