Israeli forces detain 14 Palestinians in West Bank
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah, July 20 (Petra) -- Israeli occupation forces early Monday arrested 14 Palestinians in various West Bank cities, according to a Palestinian source.
In a statement, the Palestinian Prisoners' Society said that occupation troops raided the cities of Bethlehem, Hebron, Al-Bireh, Ramallah, Nablus and a number of neighborhoods in occupied East Jerusalem and arrested the 14 citizens under the pretext they are wanted by the occupation authorities.
"During the arrest campaign, confrontations erupted between Palestinian citizens and the occupation soldiers, leaving two locals injured," it added.
