Mauritania: 80 new coronavirus infection cases


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RABAT, July 12 (KUNA) -- Mauritanian authorities announced on Sunday that cases' count of coronavirus infection climbed to 5,355 after recording 80 new cases in the past 24 hours.
Director of Mauritania's public health Sidi Ould Alzehav said in a press statement that the new cases were discovered after conducting 750 tests.
He added that no COVID-19 related deaths were registered today, thus total number of the virus victims stood at 147 since the start of the outbreak.
He pointed out that 203 coronavirus patients recovered today, raising the number of those who defeated the deadly virus in the country up to 2,363. (end)
