Qatar reports 470 Covid-19 cases, one fatality
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) DOHA, July 12 (KUNA) -- The Qatari Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that 470 more people tested positive for the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) over the past 24 hours.
This brings this Gulf country's total number of confirmed infections with the globally spreading illness to 103,598, the ministry said in a press statement.
The ministry also confirmed a single Covid-19 fatality, bringing this Gulf country's death toll to 1467 since the outbreak of the disease.
In addition, 809 more people were cured of the globally spreading bug, taking the overall count of recoveries to 99,743 so far, according to the statement. (end)
