Morocco records uppermost daily 539 Coronavirus cases


(MENAFN) On Friday June 19 Morocco recorded that 539 novel Coronavirus cases, the biggest single-day increase so far, carrying out the figure of contagions in the country since March 2 to 9,613.

The Ministry of Health stated that 457 new cases were originated in industrial units concentrated in covering strawberries in the farming town of Lalla Mimouna close to the northern city of Moulay Bousselham.

On Friday June 19 local media accounted that the whole region was placed under quarantine with more than 20 agro industrial units locked.

Hind Ezzine head of the Department of Pandemic Diseases of the Ministry of Health stated that the entire figure of revivals from Coronavirus in Morocco has increased to 8,117 after 76 new ones were extra, whereas the fatality toll stayed unaffected at 213.
