Sri Lankans stranded in Singapore return
(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) Another group of Sri Lankans, who were stranded overseas due to the COVID-19 pandemic, arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake this evening.
The group consisting of 186 Sri Lankans were repatriated from Singapore.
They were repatriated via a special flight chartered by Sri Lankan Airlines.
Earlier today, 194 Sri Lankan students returned from the UK via a special Sri Lankan Airlines flight.
The Ministry of Foreign Relations is repatriating Sri Lankans stranded overseas, based on requests from them and their families. (Colombo Gazette)
