Qatar's real GDP growth to bounce back next year

(MENAFN) Qatar's real GDP expansion has been forecast to bounce back next year with Oxford Economics saying it will increase by 5 percent yearly in 2021.

Qatar's real GDP expansion forecast for 2021 will be well above the Mena's average of 3.5 percent and between the best in the GCC region.

According to Oxford Economics in its latest 'Weekly Economic Briefing', only Oman's real GDP expansion forecast of 5.6 percent will be better than that of Qatar in the region.

Qatar's recent account (as a percentage of GDP) will also be in the positive territory (+2.9 percent) in 2021 from -2.6 percent in 2020.
