Qatar- Scattered rain with marine warning to continue until tomorrow

(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: Light scattered rain was reported in some parts of northern Qatar and offshore, reported Qatar Meteorology Department on its social media. It further reminded residents of marine warning for Thursday evening, that will continue until Friday, February 21.  

In its weather report for the weekend, the department said that strong wind is expected at some places with high seas. Northwesterly wind gusting to 25KT is expected at times on February 20 and 21. Visibility will also be up to 3Km or less at times. 

For Saturday, February 22, the department predicted that it will be a misty to foggy at first with it becoming mild accompanied by some clouds and then cold by night. It also warned of low horizontal visibility over most areas.
