France, Tunisia seek to enhance military relations
(MENAFN) On Thursday, Interim Tunisian Defense Minister Karim Jamoussi encountered with French Ambassador Olivier Poivre d'Arvor and conferred ways to enhance military relations and regional security issues.
A ministry statement quoted Jamoussi as affirming, "Tunisia is experiencing stability thanks to the performance and efforts of its security and military establishments".
Jamoussi also highlighted the good ties between Tunisian-French in technology, training, border security and the exchange of expertise fields.
For his part, d'Arvor emphasized France's keenness to boost collaboration with Tunisia in several military fields.
